Geberit makes toilet framing even easier
Geberit has improved its Duofix Sigma 8cm framing system for toilets to make it faster and simpler to fit than ever, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of installers.
The redesigned frame is now more closely aligned to the rest of the Duofix Sigma family of products, so that fewer modifications are needed when multiple frames are being installed.
The improved framing system now
has self-impeding feet to increase the maximum height at which it can be installed, enabling it to be used on sub floors of up to 20cm.
The height of the frame itself has also been increased to 114cm, while the flush plate centre line has been raised to 100cm, to ensure the lid of the toilet does not
reach the flush plate.
The redesigned system has a frame
width of just 50cm, making installation in compact bathrooms and cloakrooms simple, while L support bars make this the most versatile model yet.
The frame can be used with all styles of ceramic, from shallow pans to long-projection toilets, and with Geberit’s AquaClean shower toilet range.
As with all Duofix framing systems, installation of the Sigma 8cm remains as simple as ever, even in stud walls, with easy access for maintenance and service of the cistern possible via the flush plate.
