Horstmann makes control of combi boilers more efficient

Horstmann is offering a range of heating controls that are a good accompaniment to combination boilers. The accuracy, quality and reliability that have always been built into the company’s timers also feature in its stylish range of thermostats – and at a price that might surprise you.

Horstmann’s modern wireless products are built for greater efficiency. They have a contemporary design and are simple to install. They use the latest Z-Wave interoperable wireless technology, ensuring reliable communication between thermostat and receiver.

The C-Stat programmable thermostat employs an intuitive, menu-driven, program set-up, with simple prompts on the display screen. All have a clear, backlit display to help with operation. Minimal boiler cycling and reduced flow temperatures are achieved through the use of sophisticated TPI energy-saving temperature control software. An industry-standard six-pin/terminal wall-plate and the wiring guide app help to make installation as quick and easy as possible. All three products achieve a class 4 in the ERP directive, providing an additional 2% uplift.

The Combi boiler controls range includes: the C-Stat 17-ZW, a seven-day wireless programmable thermostat and boiler relay; the CentaurPlus C17-ZW, a wireless room thermostat and seven-day timer; and the HRT4-ZW, a wireless room thermostat and receiver. All are suitable for use with combi boilers and to control extra heating zones, and have battery-powered wireless thermostats to eliminate disruptive wiring. Their ease of use reduces callbacks and increases energy savings for customers.
