Wolseley to sponsor Heating Installer Awards

Wolseley to sponsor Heating Installer Awards

The Heating Installer Awards celebrate plumbers and heating installers who deliver excellent customer service on a daily basis, showcasing the superstars of the industry who often go unnoticed.

This year, Wolseley joins Vaillant, Danfoss, Avanti Gas, Sentinel and Installer magazine in the event’s third round.

The awards encourage plumbers and installers to nominate a project they’re particularly proud of that demonstrates high technicality, outstanding professionalism and exceptional service. Last year, Peter Booth (aka @PBPlumber) was crowned the winner in the East Midlands and the awards have really helped boost his business.

The plumbing and heating industry is perceived by many as dogged by ‘cowboy’ tradesmen, but those working in the sector know this couldn’t be further from the truth. Every day, 120,000 installers across the country work to provide tailored, modern and energy-efficient heating solutions for customers, improving quality of life, driving down energy costs and creating warm homes for UK families.

Richard Harvey, category director for heating at Wolseley, says: “Supporting Heating Installer of the Year 2018 is something we’re really excited about. We want to use the nationwide Wolseley network to help spread the word and celebrate the quality tradespeople in our industry.”
