Mary Berry’s four-step method is slightly longer than the usual splash of bleach. The process involves scooping water from the bowl with a mug to see the limescale line, then carefully putting it back in after scrubbing.
Her top tips include starting with some rubber gloves and, when finished, Mary recommends the mug is kept in a cleaning cupboard and not used for anything else…
