Wolseley UK and Bristan reach for the STARS

Wolseley UK has donated a football table from tap and shower brand Bristan to Coventry STARS Club, an activities club run by the Carers Trust for disabled children and young adults from 5-21 years old.

The charity, based at the AT7 sports centre in Coventry, creates a space for children to socialise and meet new friends. The club is open every Saturday, hosting activities such as painting, baking and team sports.

It also provides an opportunity for parents and carers to take some much needed time-out as all STARS Club employees are fully trained and qualified in supporting disabled children and young adults.

Geoffrey Newell, branch colleague from Plumb and Parts Center’s Coventry branch, presented the donation, used on Bristan’s stand at Installer 2017, to Kelly Urquhart, who runs the group, and service user Mason Tulloch.

Geoffrey said: “The team were so grateful to receive the football table, which I’m sure will go down a treat with the children too!”
