Prizes for Plumb Center Twitter followers are there for the taking
Plumb Center is getting ready to reward its Twitter followers when they reach 5,000 with prizes up for grabs.
The merchant relaunched its channel last year and has seen its following grow significantly in the wake of successful campaigns such as the hunt for zombie boilers, where installers were asked to share photos of any inefficient, horror boilers they came across to win a zombie paintballing experience.
The Christmas Working Habits survey found that over half (56 per cent) of installers said they had rescued a customer’s Christmas Day by attending an emergency call-out and fixing a problem.
Paul Bradshaw, head of marketing operations at Plumb Center, said: “We see Twitter as an important channel to engage with our customers. We want to be able to provide relevant information and news, as well as have a bit of fun with followers at the same time.
“What’s become clear over the last year is that an important group of installers on Twitter are fast becoming the voice of the industry and we want to be able to support them in any way we can.”
